Your membership only includes the Civil Liability Insurance undertaken by the UCPA to cover damages to others incurred during your programme, for which you might be held responsible. You can find the details of these guarantees on the UCPA insurance information sheet or on our website www.cabinet-lafont-ucpa.com.
THE UCPA STRONGLY RECCOMENDS THAT YOU SUPPLEMENT THESE GUARANTEES (see the following section “Coverage not included”).
The UCPA, through the Cabinet Lafont-Axa Assistance, proposes two possibilities for supplementing the basic insurance package: the Top Package and the Vacation Package.
If you choose not to subscribe to one of the packages offered by the Cabinet Lafont and Axa Assistance, you must verify your personal coverage, particularly in case of death or disability, and individually subscribe to a policy from your own insurer.
The Top Package is valid for one year, for one person and for all of activities practised through the UCPA beginning with the subscription date, regardless of how many programmes were undertaken, consecutive or not.
Details of the Pack Top Guarantees:
> Repatriation Assistance, Search and Rescue Expenses:
In the event of bodily injury during your programme/ vacation your personal situation may require assistance to repatriate you (medical centre, home...). The costs of this assistance will be covered by the Vacation Package subscribed to at the time of your UCPA reservation, or by your personal insurance (be sure to verify the coverage of your personal policies). If you have no supplementary coverage you will be responsible for the costs of such assistance. If you are a resident of a country other than Switzerland, Lichtenstein or the European Union we encourage you to contact your usual insurer for repatriation insurance. The repatriation in our packages only covers persons residing in Switzerland, Norway, Lichtenstein or the European Union.
> Cancelation Insurance:
This insurance covers the costs of cancelling your programme/vacation in the event of circumstances guaranteed by the insurance preventing your departure.
> Vacation interruption insurance:
This guarantee provides payment corresponding to the number of missed programme days if your stay is interrupted as a result of a medical repatriation.
> Bagage Insurance :
Reimbursement guaranteed for material losses from the loss, theft, or deterioration of your baggage.
> Bodily Injury Insurance:
Payment in case of death: 35,000 €
Payment in the case of disability: 70,000 €
Medical costs: payment equivalent to 125 % of the official fixed rates.
UCPA TOP PACK Information Sheet (pdf)
The Pack Vacances is valid for one person for the totality of the UCPA activities undertaken during a programme up to:
- Four consecutive weeks for a medium-distance destination or one in France
- Two consecutive weeks for a long distance destination

When to subscribe to supplementary Insurance?
At the time of purchase
You may subscribe to the supplementary insurance at the time you purchase your UCPA vacation.
After reserving your vacation
If you have already reserved your vacation you still have the possibility of purchasing supplementary insurance up to ten working days following your reservation, if this is at least 45 days prior to your departure date, from our insurer the Cabinet Lafont AXA either by Internet or by telephone.

Beyond this deadline, you can still subscribe to the Repatriation Insurance, Search and Rescue Expenses, Baggage, Vacation Interruption and Bodily Injury, with the exception of the Cancellation Insurance.
Insurance and assistance against H1N1
Insurance and assistance against H1N1 influenza are not covered by the PACK TOP and PACK VACANCES.
