The Flaine ski area and the extension included in your skipass for the entire Grand Massif area guarantees quality snowboarding at advanced and also at beginners.

Reception from 8am. Breakfast, accommodation, issue of equipment and skipass valid from day one of the course.
Free introductory session to activity on the first afternoon for beginners. For other levels: free afternoon - our teams will provide all necessary information to set you up for your holiday in the snow: safety advice, weather info, snow conditions, info on the runs.
In the evening, UCPA staff will provide all information on supervised sessions beginning the next day: group allocation, meeting times, highlights of the week.
If you have purchased the "arrival night before" option , please come to the centre between 17.30 and 19.30.
At the end of the final morning without lessons, courses end by 14.00.
Please return your equipment and vacate your room beforehand (we really appreciate the help…).

Coming by car
Take the A40 signposted to Chamonix, leaving at junction n°19 (Cluses-centre/Flaine) and follow signposts to Flaine.
The centre is right down at the foot of the slopes in Flaine, parking P5. Snow chains recommended.
Parking: paid parking behind the centre (around 4 Euros/day). Free parking 400m from the centre.
Coming by train
Travel to Cluses train station located 30km from the UCPA centre.
Take the ALPBUS bus. Information: 04 50 03 70 09.
Single fare around 12 Euros. Journey time: 1 hour 15 mins.
You will be asked for a deposit of 100 Euros (cheque or cash) when you arrive. It will be returned at the end of your stay, subject to damage to equipment and/or premises.
12 hours of supervision in 4 to 5 sessions from day 2 to day 6.
Group for the week decided on the basis of your technical level and expectations.
Day type: 1 session in the morning or afternoon.

Experience unique moments
For your safety, we advise that you wear a helmet and wrist protectors (provided by us for snowboard beginners) and knee protectors .
For snowsports: 1 anorak, 1 pair of ski pants or 1 pair of salopettes, 1 or 2 jumpers or fleeces, 1 thermal vest, 1 good pair of gloves or mittens ( snowboarding gloves or mittens preferable, as bigger and more water-tight than regular ski gloves), 1 ski hat, 1 pair of U.V filter sunglasses, 1 pair of ski goggles, 1 high factor suncream, 1 lip balm.
Please bring a padlock to secure your equipment, a drinks bottle and small rucksack for meals on the slopes.
Please bring a towel (sheets provided by UCPA).
Snowboard and boots.
We provide special wrist protectors for beginners. Snowboard gloves or mittens preferable, as they are bigger - room for protection.
