Getting to Port d'Albret

By Air: The closest airport is Biarritz. From Biarritz a bus network usually operates that can connect you to the centre. This involves taking 3 busses which will run via Bayonne, Soustons Darrigade and finally to Soustons Pinsolle. You then have a short walk along a cycle track to the Pinsolle golf course which is opposite the UCPA centre. Some Taxis may also be available, the Biarritz Airport website offers some useful information that can help you plan your journey.

Port d'Albret is also accessible via Bordeaux which has more regular flight options from the UK although connecting transport is less available.

For more information on getting to the UCPA centre please contact them directly on afraile@ucpa.asso.fr

By Train: The nearest train station to Port d'Albret is Dax, you can also get here from either Biarrtiz or Bourdeux Airport. From Dax you can usually take two connecting busses to reach the UCPA centre.

We reccomend you contact the centre directly if you require more information on afraile@ucpa.asso.fr.

By Car:  The UCPA address is UCPA, Avenue de la Petre, 40140 Soustons Plage. It is possible to drive to Port d'Albret from the UK. The journey takes about 9 hours from Calais and takes in some beautiful countryside. Don't forget to budget for the French toll roads!

  • There is always a range of ages, nationalities, mixtures of solo travellers, couples, groups etc. We have booked as a group of 6, a group of 36 (no joke) and even just me and my boyfriend – it works for all.

  • No matter how hard you try, when you book everything separately (especially with the Euro and price of food at the moment), you will never beat UCPA.
