Solo Ski Holidays

Winter Dates & Prices

Whether you are a seasoned expert or a total rookie UCPA ski and snowboard holidays are the best deal you will find. The all inclusive package means that your accommodation, meals, lift pass, equipment hire and instruction are all included in the price. If you find yourself travelling alone this winter don't stress; the multi share rooms, group instruction and sociable layout means you will meet lots of people from day one. You can pick any date, any resort and any course that suits you and rest assured you will meet lots of people. If you're a little less confident about travelling alone try one of our organised solo weeks.

Organised Ski & Snowboard Solo Weeks

Every winter we run a number of organised solo weeks; usually attracting between 15 and 40 similarly minded people who love the mountains and want to have fun. This Winter our organised solo weeks are being ran on the same weeks as the Swedish solo weeks. Each trip is accompanied by a member of the Action Outdoors team who swaps a week of work for a week of skiing (number dependent). They will do all the hard work arranging a meet up on day one, making sure everyone gets to know each other. They are not a rep in the traditional sense but of course are there to assist with any problems throughout the week. Everyone is welcome on the solo week, whether you are married, single or traveling with friends but keen to meet new people. There is a reason people come back year on year, they are really good fun!

  • The food offers great variety, choice (several options each night), quantity (as much as you want) and quality is decent.  Cheese and yoghurts coming out of your ears, packed lunch option, afternoon tea and cake and you can drink your own wine at dinner.

  • One click and you’ve booked everything. No searching around for lessons, ski-hire etc. And the best thing is you can keep adding people to your group.

  • All UCPAs are very friendly and sociable. The bar and dining areas are open with big tables, encouraging people to sit together and get to know each other. This makes it very easy as a solo traveller.

  • The quality of the equipment is second to none and the ability to easily swap things over if they’re not quite right is so useful.
