Single Ski Holidays - Organised Weeks

The great thing about UCPA is that as a solo traveller you can travel any date and to any resort and still be confident you will meet people. If you are a bit more apprehensive about travelling alone you can join one of our organised singles holidays. During the winter we run a number of singles weeks which are attended by between 10 and 40 solo travellers and a member of the UCPA UK team. They will make initial arrangements for everyone to meet on day one so you can relax and enjoy your holiday with new friends from the start. These 'singles' or 'solo' weeks are not about dating; they are about meeting similarly minded people, enjoying the sports and the surroundings.

Testimonials

  • UCPAs are like an upmarket hostel. However, they are always comfortable and if you want to meet people, the rooms of 4-6 are a great way of doing so. Even better is most of the UCPAs have some twin rooms...

  • Having never used UCPA before I was not sure what to expect but the week I spent there was absolutely fantastic and I genuinely can’t wait to go back.
    Richard J
  • Imagine moules mariniereier, steak (cooked how you like it) and paella just to name a few options during our week and you get a picture of how well fed you will be at UCPA.
    Elliot B
  • Most UCPA guests are either on their own or in small groups, so you never feel left out if you don’t know anyone at the start.
    Oliver P
  • The quality of the equipment is second to none and the ability to easily swap things over if they’re not quite right is so useful.
    Amelia S
  • Describing the UCPA is difficult. Not because there is a lack of adjectives to adequately convey the amount of fun you’ll have while you are there, the friendliness of the instructors, the quality of the food...
    Mark D
  • All UCPAs are very friendly and sociable. The bar and dining areas are open with big tables, encouraging people to sit together and get to know each other. This makes it very easy as a solo traveller.

  • The food is great and there is tons of it from breakfast, lunch, snack time (after your day on the slopes) and dinner in the evening. My favourite meal this year was on the Thursday evening when it was...
