Getting to Les Deux Alpes

By Air: The nearest airport to Les Deux Alps is Grenoble which is just 70km away from the resort. There are a number of low cost carriers flying to Grenoble and this is usually the most efficient and cost effective way of getting to Les Deux Alps.

A great website to use when planning your trips is Rome to Rio, which gives you lots of options , costs and links to book various travel options: Rome2Rio

Airport Transfers: We offer a shared transfer service for Saturday arrivals from Grenoble Airport through our partner company Ben's Bus. If you would like to use this service please add ‘Airport Transfer’ under travel options on the booking screen. You will be allocated a place on the correct bus depending on the flight time you provide us with.

Transfers take approximately 2 hours from airport to resort.

Transfers from Grenoble usually run 8 times per day from the 9thDecember to the 14th April, an exact schedule for winter 17/18 will not be confirmed until early September.

Midweek transfers may be available but will not be confirmed until early September.

Group discounts available!

If you’re booking the same time transfer for 8 or more people one person travels for free! Subject to availability – please contact the office for full terms and conditions and to apply for a group discount.

*Please note for shared transfers flights must arrive with plenty of time to pass through security and baggage collection, we estimate that it takes approximately 1 hour to go through Grenoble Airport however at peak times this may be significantly longer. Ben’s bus will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time to accommodate delays. Customers on flights delayed over 30 minutes will be moved where possible to the next available transfer. Departing flights should allow at least 2 hours from arrival at the airport.

By Train: The nearest mainline train station to Les Deux Alps is in Grenoble (70km away) from where you will need to take a taxi or transfer service. Unfortunately the lack of a direct connection and the cost of tickets make this a rather unappealing option although you do travel through some beautiful countryside. For more information visit the SNCF website

By Car: It is possible to drive to Les Deux Alpes either from the UK or hiring a car in Grenoble. From the UK the journey takes about 11 hours and passes through some beautiful countryside. Snow tyres or chains are highly advisable for driving in the Alps in winter and if you are driving from the UK don’t forget to budget for the French toll roads.
