Looking to link up 2 weeks of skiing/snowboarding at UCPA? Well, you can never go wrong with more skiing! Keep reading to find our best recommendations on which resorts you should tie together!
Let's start with the Haute Savoie region, including Chamonix, Argentiere, Les Contamines and Flaine. By far the easiest of any two resorts in the Haute Savoie region to travel between is Argentiere and Chamonix. They are so close that they share the same lift passes! Mountain Drop Offs, our transfer partners for the Chamonix Valley, operate a flexible schedule from Geneva airport. Once you’ve been dropped to your first centre for week one, you can just hop on the public bus to get to your second week’s destination in just 20minutes. It’s the perfect pairing!

If you would like to instead visit another centre outside of the Chamonix Valley, Les Contamines would be your next best bet! You can jump on the train to St Gervais Les Bains Le Fayet and then catch a local bus up to the Les Contamines UCPA. Beautiful pistes and fabulous touring await you!
Looking for something a bit different? We also offer transfers from Geneva airport to Flaine through our partner, Ben’s Bus. The best way to stitch this resort together with another one would be to start in Flaine and catch a local bus to Cluses and hop on the train up the valley to either Les Contamines, Chamonix or Argentiere.
Of course, you can plan to link these up with something else in another ski region too; however, to keep things as hassle-free as possible, the above are our suggestions!

Next up, let's take a look at the Tarentaise resorts:
Ben’s Bus offers transfers from Geneva and Lyon airports (limited Grenoble airport options available) to the Tarentaise resorts (Val Thorens, Tignes, Val d’Isère, La Plagne, Les Arcs).
Tignes and Val d’Isère are connected resorts, so it’s very easy to try out both of these resorts over 2 weeks. There are public buses connecting each resort (alternatively, you can ski across!).
The town closest to Tignes/Val d’Isère is Bourg-Saint-Maurice, which happens to be next to Les Arcs as well. There is a handy funicular running from Bourg-Saint-Maurice up to Les Arcs, which makes this a no-brainer resort to tie in if you are staying in either Tignes or Val d’Isere!
La Plagne is also reachable from these resorts; again, you would need to head down to Bourg Saint Maurice and catch a transfer to Aime via public bus or train. From there, there are local buses connecting Aime to La Plagne.
If Val Thorens is on your ticklist, again, start from Aime or Bourg Saint Maurice, where you can then hop on the train to Moutiers. From Moutiers, you can take the local bus up to Val Thorens.
Still with us?! This is getting complicated!!
If we head further south, you’ll find Les Deux Alpes is very close to Grenoble. So, if you would like to travel here from another resort, it’s best to do so via Grenoble.
To get to Serre Chevalier, we offer airport transfers from Turin (Italy) or Grenoble. If you are travelling here from within France, Serre Chevalier is accessible via public transport. You’ll need to get yourself to Grenoble’s central bus station, and from here, there are public buses that will take you to the bus stop “La Salle Les Alpes” which is just a 5-minute walk from the UCPA centre!

We highly recommend trying 2 consecutive weeks at a UCPA centre to maximise your ski experience (did we mention the discount when you book 2 weeks back-to-back?!) It’s fairly straightforward to try different resorts in the same region (e.g. Val Thorens and Tignes). If you are hell-bent on travelling between regions (e.g. Chamonix and La Plagne), we often recommend getting a transfer back to Geneva airport and then another transfer to the new resort. Yes… It's backtracking a bit, but it keeps things simple and you skip the faff of figuring out public transport!
If you would like to try 2 different resorts, contact us and we will be more than happy to provide our best recommendations based on what you’re after. From there, we can help you organise the best travel options to link up your chosen resorts!
